Track description
The race starts in Jüri, in front of Võsukese kindergarten on Laste street and continues along the same street until Aaviku road. There the road turns left towards Vaida. The race continues along this road until the Patika overpass and then turns right onto the overpass. After crossing the overpass the track heads left along an asphalt road. At the end of the asphalt road there is a turning point (kilometre 7.5). The road section from the start to the border of Jüri has excellent road cover, even though on Laste street an asphalt bump must be crossed. After this, the section of the Vana-Tartu highway is narrow and has many bends and turns. Therefore it is extremely important that the riders stay on the correct side of the road. The way back is along the same track. There are no significant climbs in this race, however there are plenty of road sections between fields that may be very windy.
Awards
• The overall best in the series will be awarded. There will be no award ceremonies at every separate event.
• Consistent participation is encouraged by the Kullapada awards programme.
Important information
• Keep in mind that even though the participants have priority over other traffic on the race track, most of the track is still open to cars. The participants are also required to ensure their own safety to the best of their ability.
• Cyclists must ride in the same direction as general traffic for the whole race - cutting bends and crossing the centre line of the main road is strictly forbidden.
• Runners must stay on the same side of the road during the whole race - the right side when viewed from the starting point. Therefore, in the direction of traffic until the turning point and against the direction of traffic on the way back. Running in the centre of the road is prohibited and runners should stay as close to the edge of the road as possible.
